The Take

Churches use websites from 2010, apps from 2015, and social media strategies from 2018. The institution with the most important message in human history has the worst communication infrastructure.

+Why I'm Right

1

Most church websites look like they were built by a volunteer in WordPress 4.0

2

Youth engagement is declining partly because churches don't speak digital

3

Megachurches that invested in tech saw growth through 2020 lockdowns

4

AI could transform sermon prep, pastoral care, and community management

?The Counter-Argument

The church's power is in relationships and community, not technology. The most vibrant churches often have the simplest tech. Technology can enhance ministry but it can also distract from it.
