The Core: Claude

Claude is my primary AI. I use it for coding (90% of my code is AI-assisted), writing (including this article), analysis, strategic planning, and debugging. The reasoning quality is the best available — it catches nuances that other models miss.

I've tried them all. GPT-4, Gemini, Llama, Mistral. I keep coming back to Claude for anything that requires depth of reasoning, code quality, or following complex instructions. It's not perfect, but it's the best.

Development: Claude Code + Cursor

Claude Code is my daily driver for development. Full codebase context, autonomous multi-file editing, and it understands architectural decisions across the whole project. For focused file editing, Cursor with Claude as the backend is excellent.

The productivity gain is real: features that would have taken a day take hours. Bugs that would have taken hours to track down get found in minutes. I'm a better developer with these tools, full stop.

Content and Communication

All my written content starts as a conversation with Claude. I provide the thesis, the key points, and my voice guidelines. Claude generates a draft. I edit for voice, add personal anecdotes, and sharpen the arguments.

For emails, investor updates, and documentation: same workflow. The time savings is enormous and the quality is consistently high because the editing step ensures my voice and judgment are in every piece.

Data and Analysis

For data analysis, I use Claude with code interpreter capabilities or write analysis scripts with AI assistance. Market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling all benefit from AI's ability to process large datasets and surface patterns.

TradeSphere's entire analytics pipeline was built with AI-assisted development. The speed of iteration — build, test, refine — is 5x what it would be without AI tools.

What I Don't Use AI For

Relationship decisions. Hiring final calls. Ethical judgment. Strategic direction (AI informs but doesn't decide). Anything where I need to be personally accountable for the outcome.

AI is a tool for execution and analysis. It's not a replacement for judgment, taste, or values. The people who let AI make their decisions are going to learn that lesson the hard way.
